in honor of independence day
a mysteriously and magnificently overexposed (and yes, uneditted, i'll mention when the edits resume..) snap of my cousin anna

no doubt one of the most stunning people i know
not to mention, seamlessly photogenic

and really, i keep tabs on her life through her photographs,
as tacoma washington is heartbreakingly far to travel to without an emergency

i wouldn't be surprised
if i dig into myself during some impending midlife crisis
and realize she
was part of the reason
i started taking pictures in the first place
